Store Manager
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Store Manager to join our dynamic team! As a member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers and maintaining our sales, service, and guiding shop staff.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Assistance: Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, guiding them in finding the perfect bicycle and accessories to suit their needs. Provide product information and recommendations to enhance their cycling experience.
- Bike Assembly: Assist in the assembly and setup of bicycles, ensuring they are safe and ready for customers to ride. Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory as free training will be provided.
- Service Support: Collaborate with our service technicians to aid in and manage the repair and maintenance of bicycles. This may involve tasks such as parts organization, service writing, and minor adjustments.
- Maintaining a Clean and Organized Environment: Keep the sales floor and back of house areas tidy and organized, creating an inviting and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
- Customer Support: Address customer inquiries and concerns with a positive and solution-oriented approach. Strive to provide outstanding customer service at all times.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest bicycle models, accessories, and industry trends. Share this knowledge with customers to enhance their overall experience. Ensure that all staff maintains Guide status within TrekU.
- Inventory Management: Keep inventory up to date and shelves stocked by managing bicycle and accessory orders.
- Store Management: Open the store and prepare the floor/registers for the day. Discuss the days events with staff and confirm that the team is prepared for the day. Manage staff schedules, confirm service work is properly scheduled. Close out the day by balancing the registers, tidying up the store, preparing for the following day, and locking up each night.

- Basic mechanical aptitude (previous experience is a plus but not required).

- Physical ability to handle the demands of bike assembly and light lifting.
